Denpasar Central Parking Project 62 Percent Finished


The project implementer for central parking project at Gajah Mada St. Denpasar stated that today the project has been finished 62 percent.

“Nowadays we had entering concrete production and basement,” said Karnaya, Denpasar central parking project manager, on Friday.

He delivered this info when Denpasar Mayor, Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra suddenly inspected the project location that cost Billion of Rupiah of fund.

Karnaya ascertain that on December 20 or at the end of the year, the project dedicated to reduce traffic jam in Denpasar can be finished and operated.

In the other said, he also said some obstacles he faced in finishing the project, among them is the unstoppable rain.

“In order to solve over the time we throw away due to the continuous rain, we have to work at night also,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Space and House Development Agency of Denpasar, I Made Kusuma Diputra said that the project implementation hope could reduce lack of parking area problem, especially around Gajah Mada Street.

“This central parking project according to the plan will be finished in December 20, the fund cost for this project reached Rp 5.8 Billion,” he said.

This central parking development is divided into two part, first was the basement area that has 1.820.5 square meter and parking area for 2.059.75 square meter.
